the only thing with an unspecified year in the list above would be the rotor and side housings. Anything post-'86 should be fine, right? Are there any differences in housings between S4 and S5?

Have you ever driven a boosted vehicle? A stock fd spools so fast it will make your head spin.

I know the renesis E-shafts are lighter but I just don't know how much. I just called the friendly folx at Mazdatrix and they did not have one to weigh. For some reason 1 pound sticks out in my mind though.

So, is the general consensus that, though very cool, this hypothetical engine would be a waste to build, considering the power available in a turbo motor?
