Well, im thinking i'm gonna save a few grand and just go with a hybrid turbo for right now. I mean, its either pay 4k for a turbo kit or pay 700 for a hybrid, i know i cant get as much power out of it... but i should be able to get atleast 350rwhp. Or so it says. Anyone have any experiences with hybrids? They worth it?

You may be able to get close to 300 RWHP with the appropriate mods, but 350 isn't really going to happen.

well what exactly is it that your looking for cuz theres two criteria to choose the right turbo for your car. 1) is how much horsepower and cfm's are you gonna need. 2) is how your gonna use the power (drag racing, roadracing, street racing, etc)

a good street turbo that spools quick and makes good power is your stock turbo with a 60-1 compressor housing and wheel, that set up is good for about 450 hp and cost about 500-700$ well at least thats the price i get. other than that for the street a t66 is good but will lag alot more and its rated for about 700 hp if i remember correctly. that turbo runs in the 1200-1500$ and again thats my price ( and yes i got hook ups around town for parts but please dont ask for me to get it for you these are my friends doing me favors and i dont abuse my friendships)...sorry to sound like an *** but people are always asking me to hook em up, i hate that.

I don't think that the 60-1 on a stock turbo could make 450 HP. The stock exhaust housing is just way too small.

A real 60-1 on a good port has the potential for 450-500 HP. The stock exhaust housing is just way to small to get 450 HP, but that's my opinion based only on the specs of the turbo.
