Hey i plan to get new speakers for my rx-7 1988 Se and it had no old ones and i was wondering how big are the stock ones for the rear of the car

 

i think they are 4 inches stock... but i have seen some people put 6.5's on it.

The speakers in my car are 4.5" and 6", or so the best buy computer tells me

 

I put 5.25 Xplods in the rear...I think theyre 6'' in the rear though, 4'' in the front.

 

You can go as big as 8 with out the spacer in the rears. You got an aftermarket stereo to go with it? The stock will not be able to fill the sound of the bigger speakers.

 

my S4 gxl had factory 5.25" speakers in the rear strut towers, and 4" in the dash. Can fit up to 6.5" without mod in back, and 5.25" in the front with a few minor changes.

 

4 inches up front and 6.5 inches in the back. YOu cna fit a 10" sub in the bins behind the passenger nad driver side which is good for conecalment the best speakers that will rock that space is SOlo Barics L7 series like 600 watts RMS.



Making the enclosement might be a mission
