My wife gave me the Infinity Kappa components and an Alpine head unit for my birthday a few months ago. I had installed some cheap CV's in the rear because the stocks were blown to ****. I am not sure what to do next. Should I replace the rear speakers with something better? Should I also get a subwoofer? Or should I just get a speaker box that has big subs and some tweeter horns? I listen to mostly metal music with the occasional rap song. I am looking for a good clean sound with some punchy bass.

As usual, your input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Well I'm going through thhe same myself and I got together with A dude that lives for this stuff. like you I want clear sound but with a touch of punch. Sooo

I have seperates that I put in the BOSE door box,(i have an R1 so this is from another car.) that have crossovers. This uses a RockFord Fosgate 200 A2 amp.

I put mid stand alones in the stock rear( behind seats) and use the same model but another dedicated amp.

The a 10" sub drven by a Rockford Fos. dedicated A2 amp.(350 watt)

An for nostagic it replaces this Bose system I had because Bose made the first and only rotary style speaker grill.
