I read through the topic in 1g specific and I have a couple of questions.

I'm going to install the blockoff plate, weld the LIM holes and I guess put bolts in the block. Do I have to do anything with the omp drive gear since I'll have the front cover off anyway? What size bolts do I use on the block and do I have to tap the holes first? I'm worried about shavings getting into the engine.

for the bolts just get the same thread as the omp injectors.

you can take the drive gear out, but i think if you do that you need to plug another passage

I found the right bolts (10x1.25mm) and tested them in the LIM holes, with a lock washer, they should be about 5/8 inch long.

How long do the bolts have to be for the injectors on the engine? Are they the same length?

Here's a handy trick: Put a nut on the bolt BEFORE cuttting off the excess thread
