ive heard a few stories of the HKS foam pod type filter coming apart after some time and letting your engine or turbo inhale big chunks of foam.

Yea, I just decided to go with K&N. My car is still being weird. I've done a few things with it. One of those is adjusting the tps with a multimeter And turning the adjuster screw untill it read around 1,000 OHMS. It seemed a little better But i can still tell something isn't right... Anyway, I just went and got a Silicome Vaccum hose kit And started replacing a few vaccum hoses. (Figured it was about time to replace the 20 year old ones...lol) But im worried because the new vac hoses seem flimsier than the original ones. Should i be worried or do you think the old ones are just really hard from being old? So, yea, And the new hoses are blue which i think will look awesome!

Oh and one more thing, getting back into the intake subject. What do i do with that hose that is connected from the air pump to the back of the airbox? Thats also got me a little confused at the moment.

Thanks.

Anthony.
