hey guys,

my friend who lives in portugal is having some serious issues with his FD. His mods are full exhaust, intake pfc ,avc-r 1bar of boost, blitz fmic, supra fuel pump, 1600 injectors and new rad. He recently got dynoed and his hp was 250 . Hes seriously bogging from 2-4k rpms to the extent of it being very noticeable. anyone have any suggestions to try? AF is 12 at idle and his boost for the dyno was 12lbs btw..

hi guys

i'm the guy that nopistons94 is talking about

so it's like this when i 1st dyno my car i only had a few mods :

Full Exhaust (downpipe, midpipe, Blitz catback)

Pfc with base tune 11/12psi of boost

Intake

Stock Sequential Turbos

and i got 306hp (not rwhp)

And today i went to the dyno again with a few more mods

Full Exhaust

Pfc

Intake

Blitz FMIC

Fluydine Rad

1600 Injectors

Act Clutch

9.5 Flywheel

Supra Fuel pump

avc-r

Plx wideband

Avc-r is set to 1bar of boost (14.7psi)

and i only got a bit over 250hp (again not rwhp)

in the wideband i was seeing 15 or 16

and in the exhaust it was coming a huge gas smell

the dyno was done in 4th gear ... and the car from 1500rpm to 4k rpm was very slow like in the street the car is very slow till 4k rpm

both turbos are spooling ok so what could it be ?

a bad tune ?

please advice

did you buy the PFC new or used?

Only reason I ask is because it may be setup for a different rx7...

you need to tune regardless, so thats a good place to start. Do you have a fuel pressure regulator? More info on your fuel setup is also needed! Did you buy a fuel kit like the one keith sells at kgparts.com?

i've bought all my parts brand new so the pfc was brand new also

i do have fpr

i've bought the fuel system from rx7store (Extreme Fuel System) but i think that it's the same that kgparts have ... exactly the same

oh yeah i forgot to mention that jason did a new map file for my current mods so i dont know how good is that map file... but i dyno the car with that map that jason made for me (i also have datalogit)
