[quote name='Rob x-7' date='Jun 27 2005, 04:01 AM']no shop in the world can pull a tranny, rebuild it, and install it for $500

unless they change one syncro or something crazy like that and call it a rebuild. I can get you a price to do the whole thing but im sure you can find someone to help you pull it

let me again point out that your not dealing with a one man shop or a guy in his garage at home, maybe take your chances and get another used one and hope that the worse is it will have a bad 3rd gear syncro

i spoke to him this morning and he said even with me pulling it and bringint it over there it will be way more than $500.00

dont take this the wrong way, but the way to conduct business is to call from a landline or at least in a quiet place, how exactly did this conversation go?

nothing more aggrevating then not being able to hear someone

it makes them not want to do business with you in situations like that.

They are both on long island, one is in garden city and one is in Massepequa.

just get another used one and see what happens, unless you find one local you wont be ready for rotorfest which is not even 2 weeks away.
