OK by looking at the diagram you put in you're second post here's what I think is wrong. The line that you have running from your TID to your center housing should be going to your oil filler neck instead. That is the only thing that I can see. BTW thanks your diagram showed me where a mysterious boost line needs to go. The one that goes to the brake booster. In my car the original owner put a golf tee in the end and left it alone. I couldn't find where it went to in my shop manual because it doesn't show it going to anything.

BTW acording to the stock vacuum line diagram that line goes to your ACV, not your charcoal canaster.

Just for grins make sure the TID check valve is facing the correct direction coming out of the TID. also check to make sure it is good.

what does the check valve in the TID go to? i don''t have any solenoids or the vacum spider in my car anymore. do i even need it?

ok one last question (i hope) what is the thing that attaches to the throttlebody that goes down by the turbo it. when the throttle plates open it moves the rod that opens or closes somehting down near the turbo. it attaches to the front of the trottle body with a cotter pin.
