Thumbs up

Hi I am picking up a 87-88 t2 complete drivetrain with wiring harness and ecu. I am going to bolt this into a 510. I would like to know all the simple mods to do first after I get this running. Is there a archive I can look at and has anyone else done a t2 swap into another non Mazda car? and what else will I need to get power to the harness?? I do a lot of Buick Grand National swaps and all I need is the main engine harness and the other conector that goes to the under dash wiring. We need only 5 wires connected to that connector which are 1-constant 12 v. 2-key hot 12v. 3- ground. 4-5 are the wires to the service engine light. Where could I find a factory manual if no one can answer the wiring question here on this forum or could someone point me in the right dirrection to someone that has done this swap with the stock ecu. I hate to have to buy a Halltech just to get this up and running. Thanks this forum is SOMMUCHHHHHHHHHHH better than the F'ING Buick one I used to belong to hehehe.

Thanks Jerry San Jose, Calif.

Hmm, I am not sure on the wiring, sounds like a great swap though, I will really be curious to see how it comes along. There is a link in the 2ng Gen FAQ section to the factory service manuals in pdf format on fc3s.org, I am sure they will come in very handy.

Sorry I'm not more helpful on this one, just wanted to say it sounds liek a cool swap!
