So what do you guys think?

I want to know if im nice or a bad guy...

I would fire the ***** out of him!

I need honest, truthful inputs plezzzzz

MY OUTLOOK:

Your paid to do a job. If you work at a company that is on the water and you cant swim so you insist you have to stay on land FIRED!

If your too old and slow to do the job, even if your a nice guy, profits and production matters FIRED!

Granted I dont think its the others workers business on the older guys pay, but they are smart enough to figure out, you work you get raises right...?

Anyways...i would talk to him about it first...before making any decision that goes without saying. That fair so at least he know what and why its happening, if anything..

Long story...

I reponded in the quote section then had to pull it all back apart. It might be, but not on purpose LOL

I would present your point of view first; giving him a chance at change.

If he does not change or gives an attitude, adios. Being senior does not carry any weight with me. He is there to do a job just like anyone else.

Do the job, make it fun, get paid.

where i work at it was similar.lol i didnt have a problem with the older guy with seniority being slower, i had a problem with, when asked about something he had been doing for years hed look at you with this dumb look on his face. i had to walk out of the lab once cause i wanted to punch him so bad...i just became very sarcastic with him which isnt a hard thing for me to do. i was glad when he retired...
