i dont know wich one is the 5th and wich one is the 6th, but the one towards the back of the motor wont move. i can move the rod in the other one just fine with my hand and can hear it close when i let off of it quick with my hand... but the other one is just stuck... and something is rattling around in it... screw trying to salvage it... i think its just gone. covered in rust on that one. so where can i find a new one? besides a junk yard becuase all the ones at a local junk yard have no hoods and the engines are exposed....if anyone knows where i can get a new one or good used one that works let me know!!! thnx matt

They are more properly called the "auxiliary ports".

When they stick, it's usually the shaft & not the internal sleeves.

Just work in some penetrating oil where the shaft goes into the LIM.

To test them, run a tube to the actuator, T in a pressure gauge and blow into the tube to check at what pressure they open.

(A cheap boost gauge will do.)

Then reconnect the pressure tube & T in a long tube to inside the cabin, with the gage on the end, and do a test drive to see when they open.

i went to the junkyard today and found some 5th and 6th port valves... took then off and tested them... work perfect! i was amazed... there was no hood on the car and the upper intake was off... there was water all down in the intake.. .but those work perfect... i only needed one ... but got both becuase what the hell... its good and the guy only charged me 5 bucks a peice. so now i got 3 working ones... know anyone that needs a good one?? if you pay shipping ill ship it to you...
