Looks like Kenny did a great job on the subframe and firewall.
What's still on the list of things to be done before this monster lives? Have any idea on ETA?
The firewall is done and I think Kenny at Conway Autoworks did a great job.
For those of you that remember the original 'attempt' by the other shop, Conway ripped everything out and started from scratch. The new firewall is made out of less pieces, thicker material, and everything is seam welded together. It is also now a lot easier to remove the upper intake manifold, and run vacuum lines to the back of the manifold, and there is now actually room to mount something on the oil filter pedestal.
What's still on the list of things to be done before this monster lives? Have any idea on ETA?

The list is still pretty long:
-subframe and firewall paint work/powder coating
-Construct the manifold & exhaust system (Conway)
-Choose, buy, and wire an ECU (in all likelihood Autronic SM4)
-Custom intercooler (Bell Engineering)
-Custom radiator (Ron Davis)
-Clutch (probably ATS carbon twinplate or Exedy twin)
-fuel rails, twin pump mount, fuel lines
-ignition coils (inductive) and bracket
-oil cooler
-interior carpeting
-lots and lots of tuning

I think you might have to swap the $20's in your sig to $100's to conquer that list!

Still waiting for Conwayautoworks to finish (which requires starting) the exhaust manifold. The collector, both flanges and all the tubing arrived a few weeks ago. In 15 days the car will have been there for a 1/2 year.
On a positive note I ordered the fuel rails from KGParts today, and the revised shifter linkage should be machined before the end of the week.
I am also talking to the mother of all ECU companies about doing a complete profile for the 20b.

Here are some pictures of the exhaust manifold in the build. Despite all the flak I have given him about taking forever to get going on this project (which he deserved) I think he is doing a terrific job with it. It looks just like the sketches we agreed on only better (imo). He managed to position the turbo exactly where I wanted it, retain the double slip connector, and fabricate a really neat looking turbo support.

PS That's some slick 1500 degree tape you've got there! Might want to contact 3M to see if you could make a whole manifold out of the stuff. Engine bay fitment will never be an issue again!
