I need some help to say the least. I know a little about rx7's but not enough I think. I'm very mechanically inclined but I still think I've bitten off more than I can chew. I have a 1982 RX7 and it has the stock 12A in it. I want to put a 13B or a 20B into it. Just a little nervous about it. I was wondering if anyone had some pointers or advice to assist me in that. Like what kind of motor, where to start, what all I will need. Stuff like that. I appreciate all you can give.

 

The 13b shouldn't be too much. The gsl-se came with the 13b so all that's probably needed are different motor mounts. The 20b might need a little more modification cuz it's longer but then again I'm not sure. I've actually been dreaming of putting a 20b in mine but never seriously looked into it. It doesn't look like anybody is answering and to be completely honest I've never done any type of swap so I'm the last person to ask but you should try posting this on the modifications part of the forum instead of the 1st gen specific. You might get more answers.
