Just recently there has been heaps of threads on engine swaps, theres roughly 5-10 of us making turbo FB's at the moment.

I'm assuming you want to use a turbo engine and you don't know much.

Before i yell search, I'll tell you the starting points;

1) Its not simple, but not overly hard either.

2) Read A LOT of info before you start. Go to all the links in the link thread pinned to top of this forum.

3) You'll need a 13B GSL-SE timing cover (front cover) and oil pan (sump). And you'll have to tap the timing cover for the oil return line off the turbo.

The reason you use a 13B GSL-SE timing cover is because the 2nd gen is a side mounted engine and the 1gen is frount-mounted. The covers are interchangeable, so putting the SE cover on makes it a lot easier to just drop in without having to custom fab mounting brackets.
