does anyone know if a 13b 6 port will bolt into a 12a engine area and if so what will have to be fabricated to make it work.

Yep, it does.

If the 13B is off a 86+ you need to get a gsl-se 13B front cover and oil pan. Then you just slot the front mounting bracket to allow for the extra 20mm of engine size and it will go straight in. If your changing the gearbox, theres a little extra fabrication, but over all its easy. Theres a lot of info hiding about the forum cos this thread comes up a lot. Have a search and you'll find all the answers you're looking for.
