Ok i have an 87 se rx-7, I am into drifting and autocross and so on, but i have a problem when i drift, my back tires bounce alot, I would like to get a suspension upgrade , but do not want to spend 1000's of dollars on some tein full coilover setup , does anyone know of where i can get coil over sleeves or good racing springs? And if racing springs or coilover sleeves will be the right choice for my application. I do drift rather well with my stock set up, but i would like to make my drifts much more smoother. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated, Thanks

Here's a link to some Ground Controls that are on sale:

GC's at Nippon Power

The bouncing is probably a few things. I'd start with a higher spring rate and new shocks.. if you're into drifting you may want to upgrade the rear sway bar too. Stiffen up the rear further with DTSS eliminator bushings at Mazdatrix or Racing Beat and maybe a diff mount (or 3).

KYB fully adjustable shocks are only $410 at k2rd.com, its a great deal and they ride real smooth. i've also gone with Racing Beat springs for like $240 for the set. the derilin toe eliminator bushings are a must, i've bought mine but haven't installed them, and they are only like $40 from mazdatrix. get these! they will prevent the induced toe which reduces oversteer, something you want more of for drifting.

Off to running gear!

I also agree with FCmaniac and RX-7Aggie but would like to add worn out bushings (besides the DTSS) will contribute to wheel hop as well.
