I've been looking at different suspension setups for quite a while now. I think I've decided to go with a Tanabe Pro RR but would like to know if anyone else here has had experience with it to let me know what the good/bad is. Comfort will not be an issue, just hardcore cornering. In other words, if it makes me **** blood, I'll **** blood with a smile on my face.

Are you looking for 3rd gen suspension or RX-8 suspension?

dude what are your plans for the car?

you say you want to make 1000hp, and say you want it to turn, pick one if you want to do one thing well.

What is the GOAL for your car?

Personally I would rather buy from a USA manufacturer because if I have problems with it I can talk to someone here. There are more than enough teams/shops/companies that race FDs or know about them to set you up a spring shock combo with USA parts.

So what are you giong to be racing? JGTC unlimited class against RE-A? 1000 hp 4 rotor car plus big dollar suspension... Maybe you can race against the new bentley/Audi/Dyson prototype cars in the Le Man's race. What about an 18 wheeler transport truck? They are around 1/2 a million and will transport every single snap on tool in the world plus a machine shop around.

I'm thinking of interchangable parts as different seasons come and go. Since I'm going 3 rotor, I won't have to worry so much about weight distribution going all upside down on me. So I'll be looking at parts for both drag and circuit/autocross. We'd have a different turbo setup to mount for each and of course everything else to change out for different races. I don't know how different this approach is, but it's one we're a big fan of.

It makes no sense at all, completely unconventional, that is why race teams have different cars for different tracks. Also you will never see a drag car attempt to compete in an auto-x or road course event or vice versa.

You and your dad have to make up your minds as to what it is that you are actually going to do, from 4 rotor motors, to stripped down 3rd gens with 3 rotors, it really sounds like the little boy that cried wolf. If in fact the two of you do put something together and bring it to the forum nobody will give a **** because you have wore everybody out with all the bullshit. I would give serious thought to your future questions before you post them, if you want them answered respectfully.

I never said it would be for anyone else's satisfaction but ours. Like it or don't, your opinions won't affect what I do. Edit: Besides, we were just toying around with the idea. Doesn't mean that I'm going to do it, I'd just like to know what my options are. I don't know what your problem is. "Oh my God you want to do that!?" Who the **** cares?
