I know of 3 FD's that have that setup. 1 has a T-78 and the others have a T-88.

i'm also kind of wary of relying on 9 year old cleaned and balanced nippon denso injectors. i RARELY hear of the bosch 1600cc injectors failing

Are you using the 850's as primaries?

right now i'm using stock 550's cleaned by rc engineering. if i have a problem or don't have enough fuel i'm gonna order some more 1600's and get a new fuel rail

If you get a 2nd gen fuel rail it will bolt onto your center housing. The 86-88 rails are aluminum and can be bored out for 1600's, as well as tapped for AN fittings.

You should be able to tap it for 1/4" NPT without any trouble. If you try 3/8" NPT you may go through to the outside if your hole isn't perfectly centered.
