Hey Hedwig,

Sean had a nice setup on his car where he ran tubing to colder parts down low. Sean, you got a pic of that?

Tony
O.....do tell.

btw, Sean, Tony, Michel, ne1 else...think the CWR IC is big enough for this?

Yeah maybe for sub-20psi boost. I don't like to margin of error above that...it's too close. Yeah, we're talking huge volume like in the 1200 CFM's, but it's all relative to the performance in specific air densitys. So running on a hot track (straight or a loop) in middle of summer is going to worse for me. I want a margin of error as fat as my butt.

What are the eff. and CFM numbers and I'll run a simulation on it.

I dunno...that CWR is pretty big...I sold mine but wish I still had it, sigh...remember it's two rows larger than the M2 Large and a bit longer.

I have a Knightsports vented hood and if there's enough room with the new turbo, I may fab a carbon shroud which completely surrounds the filter except for the top which will be open to the passenger's side hood vent.

Ahh, it was Kevin's old design. Not sure what the numbers are on it but I bet it flows up to 1400 with that core. Anyone seen anything from Kevin Wyum recently?

Kevin's still around...yeah it's basically the same core (it was the best available at the time) but it's two rows deeper (still a three row core) but it has like 18 or 20 rows whereas the ASP and M2 had two less vertically. Not that it makes "that" much difference :-) If anyone is interested in a CWR IC w/duct, I sold mine to a fellow Floridian some time ago. Well, he's going V8 and it's up for sale, complete with duct for I believe $900 if it hasn't been sold already. FYI, my IAT's with the front mount aren't really any better than with the CWR IC. It's a great setup.
