Well me and my g/f were going down highway 270 passing page when a huge chunk of steel look similar in size to a TAILGATE! Flies up and nails the front end of my 2.3. Taking out the front lights and pushing the hood in and tearing the front clip some. The good news is that we were not hurt. Also the front end had already had a hit and run on the passenger side so it was up for repairs anyway. But now it needs a fender a hood a front clip a front headlight mounting panel and a complete set of lights. I dont know what it was but I know it was metal and hit the car hard enough to skip the cd player and to make the tires chirp. The whole car just shook and vibrated when it was hit. I pulled off the highway but no one did not even the pickup who flung it up at me. I know it hit more cars because it bounced off me and into the air... well I got pics posted in my briefcase check in my briefcase after 7:30pm wednesday night.......

Nope no plate #...

I do not have full coverage so I am paying out of pocket for this too...

well in parts to completely bring the front end back I am guessing about 300 plus paint work....

That sucks. At least it won't cost too much.

It could be a good excuse to sell your 2.3 and buy a 7! :tounge:

lo

2.3 would not be worth much and it is more or less my g/f's car now but still in my name and everything...

Besides that is my first car and has been way too good to me! Even when the transmission failed it had enough to get the car to my g/f's house! We will be keeping the car and fixing it. Dont worry a 7 is on the way.... have seen several 7's around here with blown motors and have considered picking one of them up when I get back on my feet.....
