Are you going to be able to control boost with the wastegates that close to the ports? Also, it looks like the poor things are going to get roasted! They're right in the middle of 2000* piping...

The wastegates are going to get cooked, this I know.

But, with 80mm of wastegate, I think it will be able to keep the boost down

Thanks for the compliment luis

Thanks, if you are looking to get your VE very high my advice would be stop worrying about what port makes what VE and put more effort into the air pump (turbo) that is hanging of the side of your motor. Turbo sizing is the key.

Man, there you go, theory vs practical experience. I always thought that you have to get your ports right first and then worry about the turbo. On the other forum it is actually very funny how everyone just slaps on the new "best" turbo and noone makes anymore HP than with there old set-up.

In any case, VE depends on the combustion chamber, ports and RPMs. The volume of air you force into the engine is always the same, no matter what boost; it can only fill out the chamber. The density of course changes and that will give you the extra power. More air molecules can play with more fuel molecules...

Where do I go wrong here. Anymore input?

Thanks
