So here is the status:
I had to modify the shift rods to get clearance for the shifter (moved it back 2.5 inches) so that has been taking some time. I will pick them up tomorrow and throw the trans in for the last time (thank god, im sick of putting that thing up and taking it down)
the motor is in the car and I built up the long block.
I had to redo some fuel lines, made the oil feed line, got the turbos on. We are almost ready to start wiring. Im still thinking it will be a few weeks until we are ready to fire it up.

It sucks doing custom stuff doesnt it. EVERYTHING takes 10 times as long as it should/could take and you run into barrier with every step forward.
I have a smidge of new news on my front. I finally got the halo for the 10 pt installed today. I was held up cause you can only do so much with 2 hands. Gets tough trying to hold a mild steel halo while looking at it from a couple angles to see if it is fitting tight. Then taking it back down to grind a smidge more and refitting etc etc. I finally got some help for about 45 minutes and knocked it out.
This weekend I will finish tha A pillar bars, the door bars and the dash bar. Then final fitting of the seat and dash and I am ready to finish weld the cage in. I am probably 1 1/2 months away from completion, still waiting on heads and I have to plumb the fuel and rewire the whole car fun fun fun

Yeah between the two of us I dont think many people will want to race any FD's in the Frederick area anytime soon.
How do you think the Jerico is going to be on the street? I have never seen/heard of anyone street driving them. Can you still down shift?
I know my glide isnt going to be great but not to much highway stuff in my future so no biggie.

it just needs to be wired.
as soon as it starts and runs, it goes into the fab shop for the powerplant frame and a reconstruction of the trans tunnel. I donno how long that will take but its getting there. I got the engine completley assembled yesterday, just need to finish the harness and bolt on the turbos...

Sounds good. I just found out my heads are done so I need to do the finish welding on the cage, weld the trans tunnel brace, wire and plumb the fuel system and I will be ready too. June could be interesting!!
