So I take it you rethreaded the ****, and not the shifter, correct? So I just need to find the 12x1.5 drill/tap combo, and go to town on the ****? Sorry, I get so worried when it comes to rethreading stuff.

I have a Mazdatrix short shifter in my FC and i just bought a Greddy counterweighed shift **** that was use on a WRX.. it goes in 3-4 threads down and stops.. its weird.. I love the **** since its heavy..it makes shifting smoother..

Is M12x1.5 even a real size?? I don't see it on the list of taps. Why must something so simple be so difficult...

MSC's search feature is awesome. Type in TAP and select size from pulldown menu
