Judge Ito and Dan Atkins have done it. The one I listed for a friend was converted by a local shop. I didn't do any of the mechanical work. All I did was ignition. Any info I had about it was listed in the for sale thread some time ago.

It was sold back to the shop that converted it. It received a reupulstered seat and a few other subtle upgrades. It may be currently for sale again.

To be honest I want this project to be as simple as possible.... if I can run the 13B old school.... no ECU no nothing except a carb, fuel pump, and ignition that would be great.

My biggest concern is the motor mounts.... I have gathered from searching that I need to use the GSL-SE motor due to mounts located on the front housing.

Just trying to gather up info to start sourcing parts...

easiest way is to go old carb motor.. and those come with the engine mounts on the front cover.. so you just need to weld up a crossmember on the front to the frame. basically like an original repu had..
