I'm planning on picking up an 89' b-series pickup tommorrow. I want to swap in a n/a 13b. Will it bolt in? I have heard mazda uses the same bellhousings on most of their vehicles. What about motor mounts? What all do I need to do...

You will need custom mounts but the tranny and driveshaft work if you swap the bellhousing to a FC bellhousing.I have been waiting for my Xtended cab B2200 to die so I have a reason to pull the motor and put in a Carbed 13B na.Carbed is so nice a clean seeing as my B2200 is a 89 and that means its not EFI. Or else I would swap in a S5 motor and EFI if it already had a EFI pump setup on it but its carbed and carbed 13b's look so much cleaner.Plus I just got my clear corners and signal lights. They were cracked anyways so I might as well go custom. Now I need another drivers side taillight so I can tint my tailights for the custom rear treatment. Not to mention pull off the bumper and run a dual exhaust out the stock bumper holes.

Cool thxs for the advice. This one I am looking at is an 89' also. I think im going to put a dry 65shot on it and wait till it blows to do the 13b swap. It will definately be stock efi; I hate carbs.

You should have fun with this swap.

I am finishing a 12 Street Port Swap into a 86b2000 short bed.

I have been working on it since last september.

You can use the original tranny with a79 -91 non turbo 12 or 13b bellhousing..

but you will have to fabricate the front mount.

I used a Rx3 front engine mount and the rx3 lower motor mount aswell.

I also used:

B2600i 4x4 fenders, hood, bed , gas tank 4.44 rear, redrilled to 5 lug and 1991 rx7 disk brakes." And yes the emergancy brakes work!!"

626 turbo seats,

rx3 shifter

A shitload of other tricks here and there..

It looks simialr to Judge ito of NJ

If you need any parts email me, i have tons of b2000 b2200 and B2600 parts that i would like to turn to cash.
