if what he means by rotors are the actual rotors and not the rotor housing etc... then they would've cracked for other reasons and not because he stored the car in an unheated garage...

so my vote goes to...

but why would they crack because they were not heated. Has anyone ever heard of this happening. The only reason I ask is because currently my car is sitting in a garage that is not heated. It will be will be winter soon. I have never heard of anything bad happening because of storing it in an unheated garage.

> like an idiot the car was in an unheated garage and my rotor cracked

how about:

the car was stored in an unheated garage with no antifreeze in the engine and the rotor housing(s) cracked
