I saw this ebay ad that the guys says his rotor cracked on his car because it was stored in a non heated garage.Sounds like BS to me.What do you guys think?Heres a link to the ad. Ebay AD

if what he means by rotors are the actual rotors and not the rotor housing etc... then they would've cracked for other reasons and not because he stored the car in an unheated garage...

so my vote goes to...

j9fd3s 10-09-2003 03:28 PM

he prolly means the seals on the rotor, yes?

Brake rotors any one??? LOL.

Either the seller is just B/S, or i dunno..

R100Extreme 10-31-2003 05:54 PM

I am betting that the housings cracked..

rx7_re 11-02-2003 12:47 AM

but why would they crack because they were not heated. Has anyone ever heard of this happening. The only reason I ask is because currently my car is sitting in a garage that is not heated. It will be will be winter soon. I have never heard of anything bad happening because of storing it in an unheated garage.

that's the biggest pile of BS I've ever heard.

> like an idiot the car was in an unheated garage and my rotor cracked

how about:

the car was stored in an unheated garage with no antifreeze in the engine and the rotor housing(s) cracked
