I'm pretty sure thats what Mazda said too......then they decided to put 3 piece apex seals in all thier motors in 86.



Not saying yours is going to blow up....just sayin. Ya never know

Mazda also never intended anyone to increase power output beyond stock. What's your point? That mazda should take into account for people who do not know how to tune a car? Or people who do a hack job on modding cars?



Personally I think 3 piece seals are still better. They do a better job sealing combustion pressures than a 2 piece could.

I'm sure that's true but I prefere 2 piece.



Yes, hylomar sucks when it's cleaning time. I stopped using it because of that.
