This isn't exactly racing but it is a chance to really push my car hard and see if I have big enough *****.
I will be at Moroso on Nov. 3rd. I will post up some pics and hopefully an in car cam video after the event.
I was told that I will see 160 MPH on the front straight again if I have the ***** to push it.

Sorry this is a long post.
I have some crappy in car vid not even worth posting. I have no vid at speed only on a "parade" lap at about 40 mph.
I already screwed up the lip. It got hung up on my trailer when I was unloading the car. Oh well it fit in fine w/ all the real race cars there.
Moroso - What a blast. I was doing 125 MPH on the front straight and could have easily gone 145-155 if I had the *****. I lifted at 125 for 3 reasons.
1. This was my 1st ever track event I had no business going faster than that just to say I did.
2. I had an instructor in my car and I am sure he wants to go home to his family in one piece. He appreciated me keeping down the speed.
3. I only have seat belts in my car. I was told by my instructor that my car is too fast for stock seats and belts and he wants to see 4 point harnesses and racing seats next time he sees my car.
IT WAS A BLAST. I had a ball. I have found a new addiction.
My instructor was a race car driver that campaigns a ITS RX-7. He was freaking out at how well me car behaved on the track. Actually he wanted to know exactly what I had and how it was setup as far as suspension is concerned. I was off line in one turn and he started to say something. Then just threw up his hands and said "does this car do anything wrong". He wanted me to learn a lesson but the car pulled out of the corner very fast and I never really lost anything by taking a lower tighter line. I am very proud of how well my car is tuned it took a lot of money and time and a lot of patience getting it just right. So if I sound like I am bragging I am I am very proud of how well this car drives.
This was not a race but trust me there was a lot of competing going on.
The most memorable,....actually there were a few.
I came up on a BMW M-5..yes an M-5! I caught him in turns 2,3 and 4 he was not happy. He tried to outrun me. No go. I could match his acceleration in the straights but was all over his *** in the turns. We were almost perfectly matched as far as straight line acceleration went. He is SUPPOSED to lift off the throttle and let me past as he points out his window which side to pass on.
He would point and floor it knowing I didn't have the power to overtake him. It took me being an ******* and riding 4 feet off of his rear bumper in the turns to finally get him to lift off the gas and let me pass. Once I got past him I never saw him again.
That was a real rush. I was also passing the ITS RX-7s but they have 50 HP less than me. In some cases 60 or 70 HP less.
BTW - THE FLAMES!! I never saw them as I was in the car. I was told I was shooting out 3 foot bright red flames!! I could hear her popping and figured thats what was going on but I had no idea the car was flaming like that!!

The ultimate compliment! My mechanic called and it seems the ITS race car driver has not stopped talking about my car to his mechanic. He is mad that my street car outhandles his track car. They want my mechanic to look over their car and dial it in. I instaled all my suspension but paid this guy to dial it in for me. He builds race cars especially RX-7's so he knows his poo. He wants to corner weight my car tomarrow and put frame guages on it to see exactyl how straight my frame is.
