ok guys, been in the modifying feild for ages,, new to the rotor, im lookin at buying an rx7 any series preferably newer than older.. just a few questions first

engine life of a 400kw engine?

how easy is it to learn to mod/rebuild?

costs compared to piston, ie 2jz, of same caliber?

how easy to break? ( i have alot to do with dirt track speedway, once seen two rx7s stock cept for 12k rpm redline, in a modified production class run a 30 lap race an 10,000 rpm the whole time, but 1 guy shut it off straight after the race an it didnt go down to well for that rotor..)

basicly im wanting to do most of the work myself, i modify everything i can, i just cant leave stuff alone, plus the satisfaction of being able to say hahaha i made it better an i dont have a 15 word engineering degree an a billon dollar resaerch budget, is just awsome.. lol

please help me out here guys as every were else i ask ther piston bias. an ive developed an addiction to the sound of a rotor at high revs.. =)

reply to l.luxford@live.com.au if u can coz i wont be on line for a while an can check emails via my phone...

I can tell you those questions all seem very open-ended, but I'll move this to the engine building/porting forum, you should get some answers there.

Welcome to nopistons!
