driveshaft? except for the knock at idle, a bad u joint in the driveshaft could do that.

thats not it. it is very rhythmic, meaning that the timing is the same everytime. also, there is no way it is the ds bc it happens when the car is in neutral with the clutch engaged. as soon as you disengage the clutch it goes away

well, just drove the car yesteday, got on it a little to clear thigns out as its sat for a little over a week.

it was hesitating and stuttering like crazy.

would the transmission have anything to do with that.

also, the plugs are bad and the fuel pump need's to be replaced.

i was just worried that it was somethign alot worse, like a possible blown seal or something, but its not burning coolant, or oil excessivly.

pull strong till about 5k and then kind of hessitates. power will drop, pick back up, drop, and pcick back up between 5k and 7.5k rpm

sorry, it was early, i didnt mean to type pump, i meant the fuel filter.

i just got really worried when i got on it and felt it hessitate at higher rpm's

i figured it was just some fuel or spark problem, i know the plugs need to be replaced as does the fuel filter.

i just got worried that it could be an engine problem, but like i said, im not burning any excessive oil, or coolant, and it pulls strong depsite the tranny problems until the higher rpm's

another thing to check is the secondarys. one time I went through hell try to find my high end and eventually found that the secondarys were stuck shut, the only reson I could come up with was that it had sat for a while, but I popped them open and never had a problem after that. just a guess if the plugs and filter don't help
