I think I will be able to squeeze in 24" primaries and a 20" megaphone if I use a 3" U-pipe from the megaphone to the muffler.

If I choose to go for the 12" primaries, how long should I make the megaphone? and what dia. should it start with 2" or 2.5" going to 3"

As for the intake manifold, I`m gone build a new one using a modified stock TB. The primary pipes will be 2x38mm going into one 45mm, and the secundary pipes will be 2x48mm going to going to each port on the TB.

Is there any recomended lenght on the intake manifold runners?

I `ll post some pics of it when it`s done this weekend.

Anyone with experience from beveling the edge of the rotor to get earlier opening on the intake ports? Is it worth doing or just a waste of time?

Thanks

ronny

Well, I decided to bevel the edge of the rotor that opens the primary intake ports.

Here`s some pics of the result..

Did you do the exact same to all side of the rotor? I don't know how much weight that would shave off, but you might run into balancing probs!

certainly looks like it opens the intake earlier.. or at least allows more flow earlier...

very interesting.. looking forward to see the results.

They sould be prett close to identical. Made a tamplate and tried it on some junk rotors, they all had the same measuredment. The rotors never se anything over max 3300 rpm so I don`t think they would be to affected of a minimal change of mass, but I might be wrong on this..?

Anyway,I`ll find out in not to long

Heres some pics of the finall bridge ports and the bevel on the housings.

Cheers
