Making My Own Rotary Engine?
#23
I dont know much about machining but for the front and rear housings (rear espescially) couldnt you cut the water passages etc into an aluminum block and the with another piece of metal and sandwich the two together. Sort of like waterblocks for watercooling computers just a lot bigger.

The housings are aluminum and they chrome the insides where the rotors run as for it over heating i've heard of all aluminum motors before i think its audi not sure though, like i said before i can do all the machining for free.....is it worth it to make new pullys that take wider belts? or anything like that, I can make them out of aluminum and can mass produce them......

It sounds like your looking for a way to incorperate your new found machining source and your apparent love for rotaries, may I suggest starting simple. Have the guy's from the shop show how to make some under-drive race type pulley's, and or custom manifolds, stuff like that. That will surely be challenging enough for now. Also you may want to see if they have the "Blachard" type resurfacing machine to resurface your housings. That and a good Lapping machine could be very useful when working on rotaries.
