Sorry, I don't check here very often.



I'll have to get the exact sheet in front of me for the PPM's (not my car), but what I did was machine a block off plate for the secondaries (only the primaries were open), ran a stock main cat, fed air directly from a corvette air pump, idled it at 1400 rpm, idle AFR's of 18, cruising AFR's of 16.7-17. EGT's were over 2000 degrees.

As expected, the car barely idled, and stuttered and surged like mad on the dyno. The operator looked at me and asked me if the car always ran so shitty.



Car passed amazingly... picked up 0.00 on both the idle test and cruising test for carbon monoxides. Never had that happen before.

I am sure the block-off plate could simply be replaced with a gasket that doesn't have the secondary ports cut into it for simplicity.

Cool, thanks for the info. I had the same idea, however in a semi PP; still debating wich way I want to go, still got plenty of time.
