My motor is still out, so I think I'll pull the front cover

and remove the gear. Seems the oil feed needs some

restriction - either a plug, or the shaft. I'll probably leave

the shaft in, its easier.

I drilled my front cover with a 17/64" bit. inserted a 1/4" rod with "sleeve lock on it. and hammered in for a interference fit. Pics tonight

I prefer the tap and plug method on the front housing



seems like a pointless junction to keep oil flowing through, especially if you're going to block the passage completely in the front cover, that pressure might start working it's way through the RTV / gasket between the front cover and front housing.

I have one on the Flange side too, just being ****!



The Truth is I was too ******* lazy to go get the replacement for the broken/missing drill bit
