Hi guys , i have been reading here for some time but never really posted.

i have a question regarding "street Porting"

first here is what i have done to my car :

full intake / exhaust / intercooler upgrade ( similar to M2 medium still SMIC )

pettit unlimited ecu

stock fuel system ( rewired pump to get 13.x V on WOT)

cleaned / flow tested injectors

2 manual boost controllers

stock twins simplified sequential ported wastegate

boost pressure ~ 12-13 psi

what is the most aggressive porting I can do to my irons to get the most out of this setup

is 350 WHP achievable in this form ,reliable ... with 94 octane

i will pull my engine in a few days .. lost compression on rear rotor due to bad fuel ..long story

thx for reading

i think to get more power out of that, you're going to need more fuel. bigger injectors, and an ecu

I imagine the turbos CAN make that much HP but I'm dubious as to whether they'd be terribly efficient at it. You may need to look at a front or V mount unless you want to change turbos or go single but that's a lot more work.

well my intercoller is more of a vmount than stock mount so that wont be a botle neck at all

i just need to know how far can i port and be ok with the pettit unlimited .... what are the limits of intake timing i can go to and still have good cruising ~ 2.5-3000 rpm , i don't care at all if i lose any torque below 4000 .... when i boot the car it`s rarely under 6K ... so that does not matter at all ,

turbo's can make 370rwhp, it takes as much boost as they are capable of making, which means they generate a ton of heat.

your pettit ecu and injectors ARE already maxed out, in fact if you did an ecu first, you might not be motor shopping now, as you're found out theres no margin with the pettit ecu, and the rest of your setup.

intercooler you have is fine.

with the stock twin turbos you can port "too big", you dont want to move the engines powerband too high, as the turbos are the bottleneck.

my friend has an FD and he's had a bunch of different setups on it over the years.

first one was like yours, it did 320rwhp @15psi

when that motor popped, he ported it BIG, upgraded the ecu to the power FC, and it did 376rwhp@with as much boost as the turbos can make, which peaked about 17. it did something like 340-350 @14psi, which due to heat issues was how he drove it most of the time. the place that did the tuning, were thinking a smaller port would have worked better

then he put a modded stock airbox and stock mount greddy in it, @high boost it did 370rwhp...

then he went single turbo, now it does 373@15psi, no heat issue, low end torque is BETTER.

so a port on stock twins, um milder is better, as the engine isnt really the restriction. if it was mine i'd close about 10 degrees later (i think that would be 60). you can also open the intakes earlier, but with high backpressure in the exhaust, more overlap is not going to help. exhaust is similar, opening them earlier looses, and keeping them open longer just increases overlap. so i think i'd keep the intake open a little longer, and maybe open the intake a tad early, clean up the exhaust and put it back together.

sounds like a god idea the way you are describing the ports ...

what template would you recommend that has that .. or guide lines ( port xx mm`s towards side ... xx mm up and xx mms down ... on lateral and center )

also the person from who i bought the pettit from , a local guy , as well as a few other people can confirm this : with the pettit ecu with a similar setup like mine .. at 1 bar boost .. AFR were 11.2-->11.5

i know this is 100 % duty ...and a few people ran this way for 1-2 years and no problem

well here is the crazy thing... i undressed the motor tonight ,.. and while looking through the exhaust ports .. on both rotors all seals are accounted for ... none of the stick ... rotor tips and bodies and housings and walls as far as i can see are like new ( just oily ) .... im gonna open it up tomorrow and see what the my fsk this is ...

any guesses ? ...

im going to change coolant seals and order a new set of sides .. i did not clear them as good as i should have intially ( 15xxx km`s ago )

apex seal is broken on the corner, you cant see it in the port.

and if you're at 100% duty now, increasing power isnt gonna make it richer...

i dunno who has templates like that, https://www.nopistons.com/forums/Work-Port-...gre-t43340.html

last couple ive done just got laid out with a degree wheel
