atkins rotary sells a good video that will help you with your rebuild... its almost a must.

aside from that, you may beable to salvage springs, chain, and bearings but apex seals and gaskets are necessary replacements and the kits on ebay don't include both. ur best bet is to wait awhile and do it right, cuz you don't wanna be stuck doing it all over again. i'm in the process of rebuilding my 13b out of a 87T2, and its really tough to do it on a budget... trust me I"M TRYING. It adds up though, between engine stands and adaptor plates, and the 54 mm flywheel socket, the rebuild kit and gasket set, plus throw in a few beers for ur friends, hoses, and thermostat and anything else u might want to replace, its gonna be really tough to make it work for $500 or less. It sux, trust me, i'm definately feeling the pain myself, but if u do it right, its worth it.

Yea, anything worth doing is worth doing right.

It WILL be more than you expected it to be. Bottom line. You have a lot of lillt things that add up such as tools, and one that crept up on me, getting my fuel injectors cleaned. If you do go for it I suggest not cutting corners because it will only come back to haunt you in the end. Either way good luck and hope to hear that everything goes ok.

Words of wisdom I live by...

If you have never done the project set a budget, then double it, then add half again, that should get you in the ballpark for money of the project your working on.

Always make sure the parts running car is in better shape than the vehicle your working on...

Starting a project 10 minutes after the parts store closes is poor planning :P

The most important bolt you need is not available in 4 states

And...

Paperclips used as fuses to find the electrical short are garunteed to cost you a wiring harness.
