They also drift with a cup of water on the dash without spilling a drop..........Give me a break with this BS! I can't believe that the second largest thread in the drift forum is about a cartoon!!!! I wish everyone would keep this silly little cartoon to themselves and focus on things that really happen in a car.

Many shaolin monks have been trained by the cup of water! Don't underestimate it! I can drive without spilling coffee. Sometimes.

I've drifted for a few years before I knew about InitalD. I used to do it in my old 240SX, S13 for you riceboys. I only knew how to do the hand-brake drift. Braking drift scares the crap outta me unless I'm in my Miata. Miatas still my favorite drifting machine.

Anyway, I like Initial D. Its fun cartoon. Yeah, its a little cheesy sometimes, but its not that bad. I just like seeing my RX7 running around, FD btw.

I was interested in drifting before Initial D. Initial D just got me hooked. If you can get english version of the manga, you should read it. It has a lot more technical info and the things are explained better. Not to mention, they don't always drift to look cool like in anime.

Speaking of drifting, I used to do power-overs a lot with my Supra when I had it(before T-78 though... with that laggy *** turbo, it was almost impossible to try any kind of drifts since I am no expert nor have a lot of experience). I plan to get into some real drifting with the T2 though First thing I'm getting is a KAAZ LSD Since LSD is very important in drifting. Viscous LSD just isn't up to the task for drifting.
