Learning All Drift Techniques

Personally I am tired of everyone putting a name on everything. Seems of late everything you do inside the car when "drifting" has a name.......like Power Over, braking.......J turns and blah blah blah. Those words are ok to assimilate some stepping stones to get you moving but don't focus too much on those small parts of the big picture [Bruce Lee: Don't concentrate on the finger...or you will miss all that heavenley glory!!]
The only kind of drift is Kansei drift. Kansei means kinda "complete" or finished.......the whole product finalized package kinda meaning.... Is that clear?
I did not understand that at first and thought Kansei was just another "move" or technique. You will use braking, feints, acceleration and even pull the side brake on occasion. learning in blocks makes it easier for some people so they break it down into side brake and braking and blah blah blah but when you watch D1 or anyone who can really drift then you are seeing a combination of all these techniques at any given moment all mixed to maintain the angle, speed and line.
Many of these techniques are derived from "normal" racing or road course driving. Nothing incredibley new here just used to Drift instead of get in and out of corners fast. Keep in your mind the final product of having the car at least somewhat sideways while moving forward at a good speed through the line that will keep you on the track. The techniques for doing that will eventually come to you.

ive never ever used my ebrake...on my 240 atleast (it didnt work anyways, the rear calipers were old and shitty) anyways, you really dont need the ebrake to drift, eventually you can use it to adjust the the angle of your drift for correction purposes and stuff.

drift bible is all old school styles... a lot of it won't even be worth any D1 points...
