I think you shouldn't go about and read how to drift. Just go out and practice. I hear a lot of people ask... "So did you use a feint or power over?" blah... It's better to learn it yourself through experience and not read about it.
If you want to read about stuff like that. Get a book about racing and read about how the car reacts in various situations. You'll know the "technique" a lot better and you'lll actually understand why it works that way. But seriously practice is the only way to learn.

some people dont know where to even begin, honestly ide go out in a parking lot and do donuts, then try and control the size of the donut, this will give you some good car control. dont get discouraged when you spin out aa bunch of times, just keep giving it a go.
Yeah, I should have maybe given some advice. I started out in the rain. The physics are similar in the rain. You can practice in the dry but it'll be hella lot tougher. If you start in the rain you can get the feel of it and then start in the dry. It's also hard to drift with stock components (LSD suspension etc.) but you can still learn a lot.

Well i got a lil bit of drifting in today doing circles like you guys talked about around an orange cone i took from the school parking lot.Its a good way to start and learn oversteer of course i spun out a few times but got right back at it...lots of fun!Just might head out again at midnight for another session.
Can someone link me to a site i can download the drift bible from...or just a site that explains how to power over and all that good stuff?
