Ever watch an old tII launch or a good 1/4 mile car that whole back end squats down like the tailpipe is going to hit the ground.

** I am no expert on 1/4 mile racing**

I am only sharing my observations. I know my car sucks at 1/4 mile and its due to the stiff suspension I run in it for AutoX. I am imagining a really soft setup would help.

Jims right about the stiff suspension. The stiffer your suspension out back, the worse your wheelhop will be.

With my HKS drag coil overs, I can set the dampening stiff or loose. With the stiff, I would get crazy wheel hop. With it loose....well it's like the old saying, "bat out of hell"

Also, what rpm are you launching at? The easiest cure for wheel hop is to launch HIGHER.

just a tad above 4000

I CAN'T BREAK ANYTHING THOUGH

its a big deal if I break stuff. I dont blow motors and go through differentials like you guys

I like to not go overboard and maintain what I have and put money into mods not replacing stock parts because i broke them

i think im really pushing breaking the differential with my power and the tires I use if I launch any higher

You'll break your differential by WHEEL HOPPING, not by launching it. ForceFed7(Ray from PFS) uses a stock differential in his FD that runs 9's. Trust me....it's the wheel hop more than the power that will destroy the worm gears.

Yeah brian ran 2 times!

He ran a 11.9@116 on the first run and the track told him if he did the 11s again he was out. So he turned on the nitrous 150 shot lol but launched it like a wimp so he could not break 11s but see his trap speed. 11.7@128.8MPH with a 2.3 60 time was the result

Well it didn't work he gained 12mph trap and they saw that he was breaking the rules on purpose so they made him stop. he would have gotten 10s easily with a launch of 1.7-1.8 like his first run.

What a car....He should have posted a thread in the SE section in the rx-7 club cause I know he's on there. his name is 1point3liter. Go in there and see if you find it and also maybe you can copy and paste it here for me and let him know in the thread that I'm banned from there so I can't reply.

thanks!
Is this the same LS1 powered FD for sale on Ebay? Cuz that car is phuckin badass
