Yeah brian ran 2 times!

He ran a 11.9@116 on the first run and the track told him if he did the 11s again he was out. So he turned on the nitrous 150 shot lol but launched it like a wimp so he could not break 11s but see his trap speed. 11.7@128.8MPH with a 2.3 60 time was the result

Well it didn't work he gained 12mph trap and they saw that he was breaking the rules on purpose so they made him stop. he would have gotten 10s easily with a launch of 1.7-1.8 like his first run.

What a car....He should have posted a thread in the SE section in the rx-7 club cause I know he's on there. his name is 1point3liter. Go in there and see if you find it and also maybe you can copy and paste it here for me and let him know in the thread that I'm banned from there so I can't reply.

thanks!

Yes ,

non ported with the .96 on power FC he dyno 402 at wheels.

I have a .81 TO4 but it is much smalleron the compressor. Fast Freddie has ported

non sequential @ 312 whp and we both take him into mid to upper third but from there he would get it. his housing on the exhuast had a crack in the weld.(three months old) So he sent it to Turbonetics and I said why noy see if you can get the same .81 I have with the compressor staying a T66.

Done...fast freddie test drove it and thought that it was the way to go especially for street runs.

You know after looking at those VIDS

another problem you have is you are not doing a proper burn out

you go into the water box..pull out and dump the clutch and go foward for a tiny bit, in a attempt to warm up the tires

You don't know how to do a standing still burnout?

If theres no smoke coming from the tires your not heating up the tires especially after going thru water

(traction-notraction-traction-notraction= wheel hop)

get a set of ET streets

I agree with you I was having a hard time doing a burnout because my profec is mounted on the kickpanel and I have a deadpedal and different wide gas pedal that a forum memeber made on rx7club a while back. All this made it really hard to not step on the wrong pedal and such and I'd never dropped the clutch before to do a burnout.

Trust me I got the hang of it though...too bad we didnt get the 15-20 seconds on tape of one of my burnouts. After that I STILL got wheelhop although it was much better the launch was wimpy and the wheelhop was holding me back.

im gonna try real good burnouts, the differential brace, and launching at higher rpms we'll see

Have you considered removing your rear sway bar?

You have something not right suspension wise. What springs do you have in the car. Stock? Also what kind of shox? It sounds like your suspension is too stiff. I know I have a rock solid suspension in my TII and its wheel hop city if I try to launch it hard.
