12.1 and expecting better on a nearly stock car... are you serious?
No, he's joking.

Brace the diff. I got really bad wheel hop, braced the diff, and it went away.

What launching technique are you using? I found that slipping the clutch (starting at 3k rpm, and slipping the clutch out while giving it lots of throttle) gave me good results, and cut down on the wheelhop. My theory behind the sucess is it does not jolt the drivetrain as badly, like when you dump the clutch.

12.1 is a nice time, I'm sure you'll kill when you figure out the hop bullshit.

simple cure for wheel hop....launch HIGHER. It's better to spin tires than to wheel hop. I launch Nitto 555R Drag's at 6500 rpms.

VIDEOS: Sorry for the **** quality and shaking and no sound...you get the idea though : ) (maybe if you look hard enough you can see the times I can't though)

http://216.98.9.98/rx7/

I said the car is mostly stock in that most of the parts on the car have not been changed out

Thanks everyone yes I will work on the wheelhop issue I have a few ideas from you guys now. Like I said I was letting off after the 60 times...I was able to hop my way past 60 feet before I could let off lol.

Mods stock engine just hit 50k miles T66 (shhh) with small exhaust side

l8t apex

http://www.kgparts.com/brace.htm

also get sticky tires and trailing links will help (but not enough obviously)

The 16psi was on the last 2 runs only which were the highest traps in the 120s

I also used the water/alcohol injection for those.

I have 1200cc injectors in stock rail and everything what do you guys think of me getting some 850s and fitting them into the primary spot? I want to run more boost and I hit 83.8% duty at the track (was cold out)

-Snookers haha
