So I got off work early today and went to the hobby shop with my borla XR-1 I bought when I was in the states(Thanks PFS, Ray and Rikki!). Ran it on the 4 post, took all 4 nuts/bolts off and pulled my midpipe off.
Fit it by eye, cut it with a cut off saw and welded it(welding took the longest)...
Started her up and WOW...my car's quiet now.
WOT still sounds the same, but at idle, it's quiet.
It's actually about as quiet as Rikki's car with his midpipe and a PFS catback...
Oh, I forgot I have a CD player too...AND I can drive and listen to CD's now! WHOOO HOOO!

1. Does it get rid of the annoying drone at cruise?
2. Which Borla XR-1 did you use (round or oval) ?
3. Does the exaust fumes still enter the cabin (or it cleaned that up)?
I was thinking of adding it to a resonated mid pipe but have no idea where on the pipe the resonated section is.

So if you are only as quiet as Ryans car now what the **** did you have before??? His car is loud as hell. I was going to do the same mod that you just described. Van can you put up some video of you going WOT nad at idle??

It's quieted down quite a bit now, but it used to be hair raisingly loud. Now it's so quiet!
I'll go make a video now. Won't be the best quality since I'll be holding the camera and driving, but it should suffice. :rice:
