88 Fc3s N/a Vs. 93 Prelude
[quote name='rowtareh' date='Jun 6 2005, 10:33 PM']throw a turbocharged engine in there for the future. you will get beat by a cocky mustang driver, and you will want a turbo.
sounds good thus far. also do more suspension modifications.

kyb's are nice. not sure about comparing to the tokiko's. kyb's are adjustable 4 ways in front and 8 in the rear. i think tokiko's line is 4 way all around. don't quote me on that though.
also try some sway bars from racing beat. they are a good buy.

i don't know. i think it would be close, but i think the prelude has a good chance at beating you.
i had a friend with a 93 stock prelude, stock everything, and it did say Si on the back.. i think back then they all said Si, because he didn't add anything to it (not that it matters).. but it had 140,000+ miles and would do 130 mph+ anyday. at the time i had a 6 cyl 5 speed 94 mustang.. our cars were dead even from the line up till about 70ish, then he would pull away. we would race from light to light, and with good driving, no mis-shifts, it was dead even up to this point.
don't know if that helps, but good luck.

heres the 92-95 prelude hp break down:
prelude s - 138 hp
prelude si - 160 hp
prelude si vtec - 190hp
also the four wheel steering preludes handle well (i've driven one) but they are slightly heavier.
does your fc have suspension mods?
