my friend has a 93 prelude and he says he could take my 88 N/A on a road course. we are both stock but i think my experience over his stock double wishbone suspention is better. her is the track we are going on http://putnampark.com/layout.htm the 10 turn long course

what do you think?

I dunno....the Prelude is easier to drive, but driven by pros I'd say the RX7 would win....

Oh...if it's a vtec Prelude I'd give it to the 'lude. those things are pretty quick.

Race and tell us how it came out...with vids, pics, and all that.....

every one on drift central.com said car for car that my 88 N/A would come out on top. but it comes down to the driver. i have more experience out on this course. fwd cars dont do so well out on this course. and no its not v-tech and its just a plain ole prelude engine the 22 not 23 what ever that is

Since you're saying it's not a VTEC, that means it's not an Si. That means it only has 135 hp and 142 lb/ft of torque. It's also not nearly as balanced as an FC, so I'm giving this one to the FC assuming it isn't beaten to death and you're a good driver.

will do yesterday i just joined and rx7 club that goes on road trips and to race tracks and drive so all im going to do is gain more and more experience on road courses. and also im working on the car. as of next summer i will have light-weight engine rotors w/counter weight, heat and wear resistant stationary gears, street ported, griffin radiator, centerforce clutch, racingbeat tru dual headers/exhaust system, alumminum racing fly wheel, 10 point rollcage, lightweight reduction (carbon fiber TII hood, carbon fiber moonroof, lexan windsheild and rear hatch), ceramic brake pads, powerslot slotted brake rotors, and stainless steal brakelines. hopefully with this setup i might beable to run with some V-8's, and some turbo cars. what do you think

throw a turbocharged engine in there for the future. you will get beat by a cocky mustang driver, and you will want a turbo.

sounds good thus far. also do more suspension modifications.
