I've seen it in person at our area's Mustang Club car show. Someone from Detroit was kind enough to bring it down for us. It looks pretty mean. The one they brought had a roadster top. I'm sure they will make a hard top?



And I wonder what other cars the Mustang will share its platform with, if any?

I like it a lot. Love the new body style. I had my '00GT Vert. for 2 years and about 24k miles not a single problem. I would own another w/o hesitation.

Word has it that the mustangs platform is its own.. the only sharing in Fords new lineup would be the new 500 midsize sedan and the new freestyle.. which both look decent.. Ford is doing an about face.. Now if they'd do a Rotary RWD Focus... that'd be sweet

I'm a hardtop man.. Verts are cool to a point... Hardtops keep my **** stiff like Viagra man...

The car in the second picture is the one that they brought to the show here locally. It does look pretty damn good.

are they going with the little hood scoop and side vent like the vert or none like the hard top?
