Ya Dave you might want to start stock piling axle shafts, tranny mounts, and u joints. FB rearend aren't all that tough.

8.8= +100 lbs. pluss my car is getting a serious strip down after the swap. And I'm allready nowhere near stock suspension right now. With this enigne and some decent tires. a.k.a. my slicks I should get some 1.6 60fts.

80lbs...lol. Now we are just splittting hairs at this point. I have a fat first gen weighing in at 2550. There is a lot to be said about weight.

To all that said I won't finish my engine tonight fawk awf. You're only half right. It's all done and put together, just needs to go in the car. And it's 5:20am. LOL!!! Thanks to Matt, Geg, and Ryan for commin out and giving a hand. W/o Matt I would'venever got it together right, seriously. There was still a ton of carbon in the side seal groves

you can see some evidence to why you had stuck seals. That thing looks like it wasn't maintained right or it had been sitting for a length of time. Good to hear you got it back together. We will see it tomorrow at Izzy's, right?

Who did you end up getting some good apex seals from?
