Talk about getting off your *** I need to. I have had the new tranny sitting in my garage for a month now and havent even looked at it since I got it there. Cold weather isnt inspiring!!

I made all the block off plates tonight and polished them up..



I put the turbo on for a test fitting. It looked good...i need to do the oil pan now...then shes pretty much ready to go...

 

This is very similar to the setup I will be running except a little better heads, a little bigger shot and a different tranny. This is the guy that is selling the subframes.



I am pretty excited he ran a 10.1 @ 137 I have the video of the 10.4 pass if anyone wants it.

We went drag racing a couple weekends ago to see how well our street setup was working. Unfortunately, we forgot our camera in the morning rush, but we did find some footage from a local guy taping in the track tower.



I made two passes that day, and only the first one was captured on film. It was a 10.4 @ 131mph. The video is in quicktime format and located HERE.

For the record, I don't know the guys talking in the background.



The second pass was a 10.1 @ 137mph with a 1.47 60' time. The car still has a lot left in the current setup. We were just out having a good time in a 28mpg daily driver.

 

Ugh! 10.1! I won't even be able to see you unless your tail lights are on.

Im ordering my fuel system, clutch, and rad tomarrow, my IC got here today (its frickin huge!), and i got my block off plates all tightened down tonight with new gaskets made of permatex. I got crafty and pulled all the studs the original stuff bolted too, and bought a bunch of bolts to replace them...it looks 100% better then the gross stud sticking out.



I removed the double throttle and modified my TB for the AWS elimination as well.



I dont think that made sense...but oh well.



I need to get this stuff on a roll!

Yep a 10.1 would be silly. Hell that is only a heartbeat away from 9's!!! If someone can host the video you can see it doesnt look like a low 10 second pass.

INstalled my coilovers today. I am not going to have school tomarrow, so i am going to put the turbo and manifold and all on for good.
